Bio
Jennifer C Nelson has been writing for most of her life, from blogging to short stories to countless unfinished novels and the completion of one craptastic, super-rough first draft of a romance novel that will never see the light of day.
Since her late teens, Jennifer knew she wanted to be a writer, but earning a living as a novelist didn’t seem like a practical career choice. So she shelved the idea and instead pursued an array of odd jobs in retail, the travel industry, a brief stint at the local phone company, and finally landing in healthcare. Eventually, the writing bug took hold again, and now she spends her free time crafting stories and navigating her way toward publication.
Jennifer’s love of crime, suspense, and horror fiction began as a preteen when she discovered her grandmother’s collection of vintage Dell Mapback mysteries one summer and then her parent’s stash of Stephen King novels a few years later. She’s been hooked ever since.
